#CCCP PLAYER LAGGY MOVIE#
Highly compressed Blu-Ray rips can require quite a bit of CPU power, for instance, whereas Apple's 1080p movie trailers use barely any compression at all so they can even play on computers from three years ago without using CoreAVC. I suppose it depends on the compression used, so it's a little unfair of me to make a blanket statement. What kind of monster computer is (supposed to be) needed to play 1080p files well? I'm going to find and try other 1080p files just too see how well this machine performs. Yes, the other 1080p file plays fine from beginning to end. I guess I have to download this from another group. It would seem that the last line (FAAD) reveals the likely culprit here, given the symptom.įile: E:\Anime\_World_Destruction_01_.mkvįilename: C:\Program Files\Combined Community Codec Pack\Filters\FFDShow\ffdshow.axįilter 3: DirectVobSub (auto-loading version)įilename: C:\Program Files\Combined Community Codec Pack\Filters\VSFilter.dllįilter 5: E:\Anime\_World_Destruction_01_.mkvįilename: C:\Program Files\Combined Community Codec Pack\Filters\Haali\splitter.axĪdjusting the audio delay does not help because the lag is not constant but increases.

If AK and DoomTrooper have no objections, we could also release that version. 18:24:31.160 MPlayer OSX Arg: -embeddedfonts I've been editing the normal Drown in Blood 8-player coop wad into a single player/2-player coop wad so my brother and I could play it over LAN (the only things that were changed were weapon placement and a few monsters).

#CCCP PLAYER LAGGY PS3#
I've tried playing the movie through PS3 media server as well but even got lag on my PS3!ĭoes anyone know what might be causing this? As I said I watched Eagle Eye yesterday at a higher resolution and had no problems.
#CCCP PLAYER LAGGY 720P#
I've tried installing new codecs (CCCP and ffdshow) but it didnt make any difference, and I know nothing whatsoever about filters and all the rest of it so can't go tweaking their settings either.Īlso, I have made sure that Firefox was closed along with all other applications and all large processes switched off before I tried playing the movie so I don't think it's related to system resources.Īnd I doubt it's to do with the copy of the film I have because I am also getting jitter with a 720p copy of Twilight, although not as bad. I know its not my graphics card because I've recently played a 1080p, 18.3Gb copy of Eagle Eye and it played perfectly on MPC (although not on VLC).
#CCCP PLAYER LAGGY FULL#
Through VLC and MPC it jitters the most, with GOM it plays OK at any size except Full Screen and with DivX Player it'll play at Full Screen with greatly reduced lag but still a problem.
Maybe someone here could help me out?īasically I have an 8.5Gb copy of American Gangster which will not play without jittering. I have installed some new video players but am having the same problems. I've spent the last 4 hours trying numerous things to try and get my movies to play. I just noticed a minor difference, and a bit of a nuisance when opening videos using my favorite player- the Media Player Classic bundled with CCCP. I am having MAJOR problems at the moment. Minor nuisance: Opening videos in media player classic slow (CCCP version) Hi, 2600k who just upgraded to a 3700x guy here.
